December 11-15, 2020

Aspect Biosystems at the World Biomaterials Congress Virtual 2020

Learn more about Aspect Biosystems and our microfluidic 3D bioprinting technology at WBC 2020. There are many ways to engage with us, including at a pre-conference workshop, two presentations, and by visiting our virtual booth!

1. Find us in the Exhibit Hall and meet with us!

The congress may be virtual this year, but our team will still be at our virtual booth and are happy to meet with you. You can also schedule meetings via the online partnering platform.

2. Pre-Conference Workshop on 3D Bioprinting - Next Generation Tissue Engineering

Monday, December 7, 2020 - 17:00-20:00 GMT (09:00-12:00 PST)

Our CEO, Tamer Mohamed will be part of a pre-conference workshop to discuss the commercialization and clinical translation of 3D bioprinting. Attendance requires separate registration, so you can register for the workshop here.

3. Presentation: A 3D Printed Meniscus Implant with Suitable Mechanical and Structural Properties for Surgical Implantation

Saturday, December 12, 2020  - 17:32-17:44 GMT (09:32-09:44 PST)

Session: 3D Printing and Biofabrication - Clinical Translation (1/2)

Tune in for a presentation and live Q&A by CSO Sam Wadsworth to learn how we use our microfluidic 3D bioprinting technology to create a meniscus implant.

4. Presentation: Functional In Vitro 3D Tissue Models Generated Using a Unique Microfluidic 3D Bioprinting Technology

Monday, December 14, 2020 - 17:46-17:58 GMT (09:46-09:58 PST)

Session: Biofabrication for Complex 3D Tissue and Organs (4/4)

Attend our presentation and live Q&A with CSO Sam Wadsworth to learn about how the RX1 Bioprinter can generate viable and functional tissues models including airway and intestinal, for disease-modelling.

About World Biomaterials Virtual Congress 2020

For 2020, the 11th World Biomaterials Congress (WBC) will move into the digital space with its first ever virtual and fully immersive Congress. Interactions of biological systems with engineered, synthetic and natural materials are at the forefront of the meeting agenda. WBC welcomes industry to leverage the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with a global expected delegation of over 4000 early career researchers, prominent senior investigators, academics, scientists and other representatives from biomedical companies. WBC hopes the Congress will provide a forum to exchange scientific ideas, inspire new research, and new contacts for closer collaboration, so that we can, together, define, the future for our young (and not so young) researchers who are today's reality and tomorrow's future.
